Web developer’s handbook
Seocracy just pointed this out via twitter, so the old simian can not take the praise.
Thanks, man.

No commentsHealth issues
Some people have already noticed that the old simian is not the healthiest person around. The typical computer freak lifestyle he got into for the last two years did not help much, either.
Yesterday his doc noticed, and fired a few warning shots.
This means that 2008 will also be a year concerned with getting and staying healthy.
Of course, that begins with healthy food and ends with sports.
Let us see this as a chance and a good sign that someone noticed. (thanks, doc)
So expect some health related posts and maybe a post about goals 2008.

3 commentsTipping for your website
First part in a series…
Here is a paper about how waiters can increase their tips from Cornell university.
My wife has actually tried several (when she was still waiting tables) and they all work like a charm.
More on how to translate those into the internet business in the next installments.
I was not kidding with the crazy ideas thing.

100 tutorials for beautiful art
I know that art might not be on your highest list of priorities, but the interested eye might find one or two gems in these.
1 commentProductivity resource - Folderico
Folderico is a little tool that will help you make sense of your folders a bit more.
It attaches itself into the file explorer and gives you the ability to easily give another icon or color to your folders.
Sounds trivial, but looking at the screenshot will provide all the proof you need to see that this is a major advantage if you are dealing with a lot of files and projects.
And who isn’t?
Visit the foldericio website for more info and the download.
No commentsPodcasting with the Lord
Well..
As announced on WF already, the Lord and I are going to collaborate on some podcasts over at domainingtips.com.
Not bad for an old atheist, eh?
No commentsMore free icons
Over 300 free icons, to be exact.
Free to use in personal and private projects, the people at aspneticons.com are just asking for a link.
Although these do look a little bland at first site, that is perfect for an application and makes them easier to customize if you so desire.
Enjoy,

Great collection of free icon sets for the desktop as well as for web projects.
Some are even available as .eps files, all for free.
4 commentsHolding back
I did a lot of thinking about the content of this blog, and one thing struck me as important:
I have been holding back.
This blog has not seen a lot of the weird geekiness that is me.
Expect a lot more strangeness, nerdy posts and weird ideas from now on.
