Two awesome tools to check your sites
Picking up free tools is always nice.
Even nicer when they are as useful as these two:
- Browseo (web based tool)
- Check My links (Chrome plugin)
Browseo
This website lets you enter any URL and reports back with a full load of SEO relevant information.
Header tags found on the site, image texts, preview of SERP snippet, internal and external links (with highlight functions) and more.
Browseo is free, so check it out.
Check my links
This nice browser extension simply checks all the links it can find on a page. In addition to showing the number of good and broken links, it also highlights them on the page in green or red.
Get “Check my links” from the Chrome web store.
I’ve been using Check my links for a little over a year now, it’s a great little extension, but I’ve got to shout out a disclaimer that it doesn’t always pick up every link on the page. It helps to go into the options and make sure you’ve got NoFollow links counted, also sometimes changing the method is a must. Typically ‘Head’ is fine though.
Nice shout on Browseo btw! Another one I use regularly in conjunction with these two is MetaForensics.io you’ll love it emp I know it!
Hi Daniel.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll check metaforensics.io.
Both tools are really useful !! Thanks a Ton !!
